A few years ago I discovered this lovely book in one of my library rambles called, The Lady and the Lion . I fell in love with the illustrations by Laurel Long and checked out every book at the library I could find with her art. I finally caved and bought my own copy of the Lady and the Lion because I could stare at these pictures by the hour.
