And then there were 8 days until Christmas. Of course the problem is that tonight we did what we always do on Christmas Eve and so for the rest of the year I’m going to feel like tonight was the eve of Christmas. We made more cookies (because, where Christmas is involved, can you have too many cookies?) And then there were friends and family, which of course meant there were unnecessary close-ups. There were too many good things to eat followed by lots of lovely presents to open. There were holiday socks, holiday T’s and holiday accessories; holiday music, holiday movies, one (or maybe two?) quality holiday sing-along’s, and yes even some Holiday tea (yum). And now there are 7 more days until Christmas proper… but I’m not sure what I’ll talk about now. All the things that Christmas is, and should be, have happened and so I supposed we’ll just call the rest ‘bonus’ Christmas. I guess…Right?
